If you are looking for a spacious, versatile and eco-friendly vehicle that can accommodate up to nine passengers, you might want to check out the new Citroen e-SpaceTourer. This electric minivan is based on the Citroen e-Dispatch van but has a more refined and comfortable interior. It also offers a range of features and technologies that make it stand out.
What is the Citroen SpaceTourer?
The Citroen e-SpaceTourer is a nine-seater MPV that can be configured in two lengths: M (4.95m) and XL (5.30m). Both versions can seat up to nine people on board, with three rows of seats that can be adjusted in various ways. The second-row rear bench seat slides back on rails for increased legroom and also reclines. The third-row bench seat contains three Isofix mountings for securing child seats.
The SpaceTourer is powered by an electric motor that produces 134bhp and 192 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 50kWh battery pack. According to official testing, it has a WLTP-certified range of up to 143 miles (217km) on a single charge. It can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes using a 100kW DC rapid charger or from 0% to 80% in about seven hours using an AC wallbox.
The SpaceTourer has a high driving position and excellent all-round visibility, thanks to its large windows and panoramic sunroof. It also has a smooth and quiet ride quality, thanks to its adaptive suspension system that adjusts the damping force according to the road conditions.
